The Operators
The designers, builders, and testers enacting the vision of ZLI.
Frank Levi - Co-founder
The amp tech to the stars. With credits in the hundreds and a resume inclusive of companies like NASA and Hiwatt, Frank Levi set the foundation for ZLI. His undying effort to fight for underdog musicians provides a shelter to all creative souls—even beyond the end of his earthly life.
Brian Zircon - Co-founder and Apprentice to F. Levi
Relentless performer and entrepreneur. A musician, author, teacher, recordist, and MBA graduate, Zircon oversees the vision of the company and creates the full realization of new designs. Through an intense friendship with Frank Levi, Zircon spent years walking the path of his master, taking on the cognitive signature of his famed friend.
Jerry Ogle - Engineering Consultant
As a Vietnam veteran with over 50 years experience, Jerry is consulted during the construction of new designs to ensure their successful creation. His initial effort to demystify the workings of Frank Levi’s designs was a crucial determining factor at ZLI’s survival following Levi’s death.
Owen Ellis - Technician and Apprentice to B. Zircon
The chosen apprentice of the mentor’s own, Owen Ellis works alongside Brian to compile, execute, and test the resulting offerings of ZLI. His musical aptitude and studio experience grants him a unique perspective that dramatically improves the end user experience.
Mitchell “Mystic” Wilson - Engineer
From the early days of Brian Zircon’s Sunwing Studios, Mitchell Wilson has assisted in the technical development and testing of many products under their charge. His unique perspective as a songwriter provides responsive insight into the needs of musicians.
Paul Larue - Fabrication
Paul Larue is the primary fabricator of all unique jigs, mechanisms, and toolsets required for ZLI’s assembly line to function efficiently.
